Hi, I’m Scott

I’m a 58 year old married grandfather and also an Architect. I’ve lived in DTP since 2003 and I don’t have to tell you how marvelous it is to live here - you already are a fan!

As President of Hartsilvers Architecture & Design, I’ve built and led a successful small business, managing expectations, delivering results, and solving problems every day. If you are curious as to what Hartsilvers does, check out the website www.hartsilvers.com

This hands-on background prepares me to serve with accountability, transparency, and a deep understanding of what it takes to get things done for Plymouth. As a small business owner, I know firsthand the value of every dollar, and how important decisions can be not only for the immediate present, but well into the future.

As for me, it’s that uniquely rare quality Plymouth that makes ‘Plymouth Plymouth” is why we chose to live in such an oasis. It’s also why I chose to serve on the Planning Commission board for the last 10 years. Going to the farmers market on Saturday, enjoying a pint after a mountain bike ride at nearby Hines Park, playing guitar on my porch (when not at Music in the Park), the wonderful shops and restaurants, and taking my two dogs for a walk in the evening are only the tip of the iceberg about how wonderful it is to live in such a community.

I know how rare and delicate small traditional urban neighborhoods and downtowns are and why they need to be protected from the surrounding suburban sprawl. My experience as an architect lends me a unique perspective for identifying issues that are often overlooked, issues that are critical for ensuring that the special qualities we love about Plymouth are well cared for.

That experience is exactly what Plymouth needs.

I hope to get to meet you and also get your vote:
